Berlin Biennale, curated by Artur Zmijewski, with Joanna Warsza and the Russian collective Voina, opens today. The event, hosted this year by the KW Institute for Contemporary Art, presents itself as a place of social and political confrontation, in which art acts as an engine of new strategies. Turning around the idea of curating as an artistic practice, the biennial is structured through performances, talks and workshops, offering itself as a showcase of diverse artistic practices, open to the social matters.
Until July 1.
